Our range of double glazed and triple glazed flush glazed rooflights are available in both standard and bespoke sizes. The flush glazed rooflight has a low profile system, the glass being structurally bonded and triple sealed. Ideal for flat roof applications and suitable for rooves with pitches as low as 5 degrees.
We provide Flushed Glazed rooflights in double glazed (32mm thickness) and triple glazed (42mm thickness). Standard and bespoke sizes are available. Bespoke are typically on a 4-6 week lead time dependant on your requirement. Lead times will be advised on all quotations undertaken.
The flushglaze rooflight has a low profile system, the glass being structurally bonded and triple sealed making it an ideal rooflight for flat roof applications on a pitch of 5 degrees also for pitched rooves up to 70 degrees. Water pooling and condensation risks are kept to a minimum by the elimination of internal flashings and external metal framework.

We provide double glazed units that are A rated argon units using low E-Glass (90% argon gas filled with a warm edge space bar). All our double glazed units are toughened or laminated to comply with building law.
Our double glazed units come in various thicknesses. The thinnest being 14mm. There are no standard thicknesses for double glazed units. They are made up to your requirements. The thickness and size determine the make up of the double glazed unit.

By law, double or single glazing in front doors, side panels at front doors & back doors have to be toughened or laminated.
Our double glazed units can be made with clear glass or obscure glass for privacy. We have a range of obscure glass to choose from. We also make decorative double glazed units for your front door, front door side panels, conservatory, etc. We can make almost any design you require into a decorative double glazing panel.
Our range of safety glass complies with all building standards. Our laminated safety glass provides a high strength glass commonly used in shop fronts, balconies, roof glazing and more. Our toughened glass all goes through the controlled thermal processes to increase its strength. Our Georgian wire glass also acts as safety glass.
Laminated glass is a type of safety glass that holds together when shattered. In the event of a breaking, it is held in place by an interlayer of clear plastic film between its two layers of glass.. The interlayer keeps the layers of glass together even when broken. Its high strength prevents the glass from breaking up into large sharp pieces. This produces a characteristic “spider web” cracking pattern when the impact is not enough to completely pierce the glass.
Toughened glass has gone through controlled thermal processes to increase its strength compared to normal glass. Toughened glass shatters into small fragments instead of sharp shards when broken making it safer and less likely to cause injury. As a result of its high strength and safety, toughened glass is used for door panels, front door panels, low glass panels and more.
Georgian Wire Polished Plate is a clear glass with thin square wires and is fire rated for up to 30 minutes. This type of glass can be used in most frames including fire doors and screens. When broken, the wires hold the glass together which adds an element of safety.

Rich Glass and Glazing is a family run business established by brothers Alan and David Rich. In doing so Alan and David continued what had been a family trade as they honed their skills from a young age by watching their father glaze. In 1977 Alan began a five year apprenticeship with the Dublin Glass and Paint company and has been skilfully and diligently been cutting and fitting glass ever since.
Rich Glass and Glazing was established in 1983, when Alan was 21 and David just 16. The two brothers started working from a small garage outlet adjacent to where the current workshop is now which they relocated to in 1986 as the company began to expand. In 2002 as the Rich Glass name and reputation grew and grew a new factory unit was built to replace the old workshop and house the latest machinery and tools.
We use computer controlled glass cutting tables to ensure absolute accuracy on every cut. Our sealed unit manufacturing line can produce bespoke double glazed units and flush glazed rooflights of the highest quality and durability. In addition to this technology we use the traditional hand skills of our professional glaziers and fitters in order to produce bespoke commissions of a decorative nature including bevelled and polished mirrors, glass table tops and shelving, along with the ornamental intricacies of lead lights and stained glass panels for doors and windows.
